Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety may be something you have struggled with for a long time or you may have recently gone through some life changes that have you facing increased stress and anxiety. People who experience anxiety may also struggle with traumatic experiences, negative thinking, over-thinking, nervousness in social or work situations.

There are many types of anxiety including social anxiety, panic, phobias and generalized anxiety. We offer different anxiety assessments to determine what type of anxiety you are struggling with, as well as determine the best course of treatment for you. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

OCD is an anxiety disorder characterized by obsessions (unwanted thoughts) and compulsions (repetitive behaviors). There are many types of obsessions and compulsions that people with OCD may experience including cleaning and contamination, symmetry and ordering, and intrusive thoughts.

There are many subtypes of OCD such as Contamination OCD, Just-right OCD, Relationship OCD, Harm OCD and many others. We offer a thorough OCD assessment that will help determine what type(s) of OCD you are struggling with.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is labelled as the “gold standard” for OCD treatment. We offer comprehensive ERP treatment tailored specifically to you, along with mindfulness and CBT strategies to teach you to observe your thoughts and feelings in an objective manner.
