What is the fee for service?

The fee is $220 per 50 minute session. This is the recommended fee for services outlined by the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA).

Payment is due at the end of each session. Please note that we accept all major credit cards and e-transfer. We do not accept debit at this time.

​Insurance/benefits: Please contact your insurance provider to verify what your coverage is for psychological services. You will receive an official receipt to submit for reimbursement from your insurance provider.

Missed Appointments and Cancellations

Please be aware this practice has a cancellation and no show policy in place. Your scheduled appointment is a block of time that is held for you. If you believe you won’t be able to make a scheduled appointment, please inform me as soon as possible. Olive Branch Psychology requires a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancelling appointments otherwise you will be automatically invoiced for the full cost of the session.

Will Insurance Cover My Sessions?

Most insurance policies will cover a Registered Psychologist if the policy includes counselling/psychological services under an extended health coverage plan. Review your insurance policy and contact your insurance provider to determine how much coverage you have, what professional designation is covered, and what portion of the fee (if any) you may be responsible for. If you do not have insurance coverage, services may be tax deductible.
